A few days ago, it was reported that the shooting for the film Jug Jugg Jeeyo came to a halt after Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, and director Raj Mehta tested positive for Coronavirus. Later, reports of comedian-actor Maniesh Paul contracting the virus had also surfaced. Maniesh Paul is one of the stars of the film and had been shooting for Jugg Jugg Jeeyo in Chandigarh. The actor is now back in Mumbai, and he confirmed his COVID-19 diagnosis through a post on social media.

Maniesh Paul took to his Instagram account and shared a selfie from his home. He reassured fans that it’s very mild and asked them not to worry. However, he did urge everyone to be extra careful and not let their guards down by assuming that things are getting back to normal.   He also thanked his fans for all their wishes. He wrote, “SO I HAVE TESTED COVID POSITIVE...but its very mild...nothing to worry...will bounce back soon...we all need to be extra careful....dnt let the guard down...thanks for all the get well soon wishes... #mp #life #homebound #lockdown #2 weeks #bebacksoon #staysafe #staywell.”

Maniesh Paul had returned to Mumbai from Chandigarh a few days ago after shooting for Jugg Jugg Jeeyo there. He got tested for COVID-19 last week as he was feeling unwell. A source informed PTI, “He has been unwell after returning from Chandigarh and underwent a test. The results came on Saturday and he tested positive.”

Jugg Jugg Jeeyo marks the comeback of Neetu Kapoor, and YouTuber Prajakta Koli’s Bollywood debut. It also stars Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Maniesh Paul, among others.
